Awards
Judges will select their special awards at each awards ceremony. Judges awards could include but are not limited to costume, choreography, entertainer, technique, etc.
All entries will receive an award for their adjudicated placement (gold, platinum, platinum star or titanium).
Overalls will be awarded for each age division and competitive level. The number of overall awards given will be determined by number of entries. Gift certificates awarded to categories with five or more routines for each age/level.
Regional High Point Award (highest scored group routine for the weekend) will be awarded at each regional event during the final awards ceremony.

Title Awards: Soloists competing for title will be evaluated based on the following: personal
projection, composure, overall appearance, artistic expression, physical fitness, grace, style, self-confidence and professionalism. All Title Finalists will be awarded a “Title Finalist” certificate. Title runner-up and winner will be awarded in each age division regardless of level. Both will be awarded a banner, and the winner will also receive a “Title Winner” hoodie. Mini and Petite age divisions will be combined.
Photogenic Awards: Photogenic trophy will be awarded to the photogenic winner for each age
division regardless of level. Mini and Petite age divisions will be combined.Improv Awards: Improv dance competition will be held at the conclusion of each group session. Dancers will compete in small groups of dancers of the same age division regardless of level. Age divisions may be combined if there are less than 5 in each division. Mini and Petite are always combined. Two different genres/song titles chosen at random by the emcee will be provided for the improv competition. Winners will be awarded for each age division.
*NEW* Dancearchy Apprentice Awards: Dancearchy judges will invite dancers from each age division regardless of level to be an Apprentice at a 2026 Dancearchy Convention. Dancers receiving this special invitation will also get a full scholarship to one convention event. They will have the opportunity to learn and work with our Dancearchy convention instructors while demonstrating for all the convention classes. Invited dancers must be registered for the Dancearchy convention to participate. Each apprentice will receive a Dancearchy Apprentice shirt.
Spirit Award: During the final group awards ceremony of each regional competition, we will award one studio with our Dancearchy Spirit Award. This will be awarded to a studio displaying good sportsmanship, teamwork, positive attitude, and contributing to the overall positive experience received at Dancearchy. This includes but is not limited to dancers, teachers, directors, parents, family, and friends.
